What Gear do I use?

OK just so we can get the Nikon vs Canon fight out of the way, I announce that I am an absolute Canon fan and try not to mix it cup with third party equipment if possible. Now my learn'ed friend Simon Watkinson (who's link you can find on the links page above) would have me believe that I am totally bonkers but I beg to differ :-).

Actually at the standard of todays cameras as long as you have the option to get off automatic programme mode and have a reasonably good quality lense, there is no reason why you can't compete at competition grade. Its just loonies like me that have to collect expensive glass, that keeps the big brands in profit. That said, I love my kit and here is a selection of some of it. It's by no means an exhaustive list as I have lots of accessories and studio kit but this is the core kit in my bag(s). Click here to see it.
